This Sunday - Huge Vintage Sale

This months Huge Vintage Sale is going to be bigger and better than any before! This time we have vintage bikes as well as a massive men's section. We also have oodles of ladies items. Best of all, its at the North Perth bowls club again giving you the chance to have a leisurely brew, once your done shopping, and admire your fabulous new vintage finds on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Doesn't that just sound too perfect.

PFF 15 Minutes! Quick squiz

I was lucky enough to be invited to attend '15 Minutes' for the Perth Fashion Festival last night. Not only that, I was given a front row seat! Safe to say, I was pretty excited to see the show, especially given the wonderful Emma Bergmeier of Dropstich was to thank for styling the night.

To quickly sum up, I met some amazingly sweet Perth bloggers, was blissfully happy front and centre for the show, have a camera full of runway and style shots and finally, have added at least 12 new essential pieces to my summer wardrobe wish list.

There will be another post to come with some more details and my favourite shots from the night, but for now here are a couple of videos I found of the show. You can see me pretty clearly, just look for the platinum curls, flailing camera wielding arms and really long legs. My dress was an unforgiving short vintage number that was only suitable if I stood perfectly still, but man oh man do I love it. Here's hoping I have a shot of it to show you all.

15 Minutes - Rise of the Fashion Blogger

Last minute competition for you folks, but its a good'un. Tuesday night of Perth Fashion Festival will see '15 Minutes' a runway show which takes its inspiration from the streets snaps of WA fashion blogs.

Blitz the Night

Okay so I have some serious catching up to do on the ole post front. Sitting in wait in the still working (touch wood) external hardrive is a growing collection of style, vintage and all round fashion full snaps from the past couple of months. My laptop has just returned from being repaired FOR THE FOURTH TIME THIS YEAR, so I will be doing my darndest to get all these old pictures up for you to have a squiz. Sure they are a little dated now in this fast paced Perth world but I owe it to the darling people that went to the trouble of posing for me to actually post their pic for the world to see.

First up, photos from Blitz the Night - August 21, 2010 @ Chris Huzzard studios, 104B Murray Street, Perth City.

A great night showcasing Perth designers and even yours truly, little ole vintage peddler - The Ginger Fox. It was so exciting to see some of my prized threads coming down the catwalk and luckily enough I had talented photographer Clint Conner along with me to capture the moment.
















All up there was 16 entrants signed up for the Blitz the Night competition ; 7 Sins Swimwear, Natasha Mapleson, Alana & Co, Eco Peko, Fallen Feathers, Red Dusk Jewellery, Pardon my French, Silicone Saturdays, Jo Denham Designer Jeans, Rock a Frock, Elie Marie, Cassie Lee, Samantha/Ninety Seven Clothing, Madalyn Da Luz/Savannah Clothing, and Rommi Higgins/Scarlett Fashion.

Taking out the prizes for the night was designer Terryn Lee Hall from 7 Sins Swimwear and the Flemming Sisters from E-Boutique NinetySeven Clothing
